I haven't done anything special to the firewall, but since it's failing on ssh authentication, I don't think that's an issue at this time. I'm able to run X sessions from the remote system and display them locally. It comes back fairly quickly so there doesn't seem to be a problem with access.

The nx client configuration windows show pretty much the same except for the obvious differences. As far as I can tell the configurations are very similar between the working and non working systems. I then attempted to connect to a remote Centos5 system. The keys are not the same however it was successful. It would appear that the connection was made over an ssh connection using passwords. I have successfully connected from Ubuntu to Centos 5 (local lan). Here's a copy of what I placed in that thread.
